The Toyotomi America Corporation manufacturing plant in Springfield, Kentucky consists of six connected metal buildings by American Buildings Company, the two largest of which measures 300’ by 320‘and a 175 ft by 300’. The smaller of the two has a 50’ roof height and special box girders to support two 44-ton crane systems. The 300’ by 320’ building is reinforced to carry a below-ceiling steel gridwork that provides support for utility service to robotic cutting and welding equipment. Runnebohm Construction Company received an Honorable Mention for "Design and Construction Excellence" from American Buildings Company for the project.
