Porter Center - Community Center

Runnebohm Construction Company’s renovation of the historic Porter Pool Bath House has given new life to the building located in Shelbyville, Indiana. The structure, now officially known as the Porter Center, is the home of the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce, MainStreet Shelbyville, and Shelby County Tourism. The building, originally built in 1930, retains many historic features including the original entry doors, accent windows, and gambrel shaped wooden ceiling.
The Chamber’s Executive Director said “We have had many members of the community come into the Porter Center, and have all remarked about the exceptional remodeling work and the fact that the building was saved and restored.”
