The new 32,000 square foot headquarters of RushShelby Energy consolidates office space, vehicle housing and material storage from four different locations. The general office area has an open concept with cubicles as well as a public meeting room that will handle more than 100 people. Included in the new facility is a 26,600 SF pre-engineered metal building that has seven bays to house twelve line trucks and other equipment, as well as, 6000 SF that is used for the shop and engineering offices. The building was also designed to feature geothermal heating and cooling as a way for the utility to demonstrate the use of this energy saving technology to their customers.
