History
After several years of working in his family’s contracting business, Nick Runnebohm made the bold decision to venture out on his own. In 1968 he founded Runnebohm Construction and chose to specialize in Commercial and Industrial construction. His first project was a school bus garage in Shelbyville, but soon he was able to boast work from companies throughout central Indiana.
Over the years our company has completed hundreds of projects for satisfied customers. We have grown from a small firm, working in and around Shelbyville, to a mid-market General Contractor working throughout Indiana and in Illinois, Ohio, and Kentucky. In addition, our service offering has grown to include the medical, retail, logistics, and agricultural markets.
Nick’s philosophy of always treating the customer right and focusing on “Solutions. Not Surprises.” remains strong in our company today and is evidenced by our long list of repeat clients. We look forward to working with you on your next building project!
